Between 20:30 and 21:30 on March 28th, Beijing Yintai Centre, together with numerous renowned iconic buildings around the world, took part in Earth Hour, promoting energy conservation and environmental protection by walking the talk.
This was the twelfth consecutive year Beijing Yintai Centre participated in this event.
Earth Hour, first launched in Sydney, Australia in 2007, is now observed in more than 188 countries and regions as well as 7,000 cities worldwide, attracting millions of supporters. It has become the largest open source environmental protection campaign and platform for the public to take part in environmental protection around the world.
Having experienced the COVID-19 pandemic, 2020, the "super year for biodiversity", has encouraged even greater awareness for the protection of nature and biodiversity among the human race.
